(a) After removing the external door, detach the electric connections from the dispenser
(b) Remove the screws which secure it to the inner door
(c) Press on the fixing side anchor tabs and remove it from its seat
(d) Push it from the outside of the door and extract it from the inside of the appliance
(e) Secure the new "detergent dispenser" to the inner door: make sure that the anchors are back in their
original position
(f) Connect the cables for the salt/rinse aid sensor to the new "adapter" supplied in the kit
(g) Connect the adapter to the "detergent dispenser"; use, if necessary, a clamp to gather all the cables
together
ATTENTION!
The particular fastons and faston covers, supplied with the kit, must
be especially used on the I-TRONIC dishwasher series, as the
"detergent dispenser" (part no. 152 08 06-40/5 and 152 08 06-50/4),
currently used in production up to June 1998 (serial no. 823...), was
provided with a modular type electric connection.
Therefore, only for ITRONIC dishwasher series:
1. Remove the modular type connector by cutting the cables
2. Fit the two fastons and faston covers to the cables
3. Connect the electric cables to the new "adapter" supplied in
the kit
FINAL TEST
At the end of the above operations, perform a test cycle to check if the component works properly; fit the door.
