Subject: Leakage in base tray / activation of float switch

You may receive a call where the float switch has been activated by water in
the base tray.
This could be caused the lock nut under the salt cap being very loose.
It is very important on any service calls made to the compact dishwasher that
the locknut is checked to ensure it is fully tightened. It should not be possible
to unscrew by hand.
If the lock nut requires to be tightened, care should be taken not to fracture
the nut or the plastic base.
