Inlet air - thermistor element (PT100 sensor)

Function
The thermistor element measures the temperature of the heated air entering the drum.
The resistance of this device is normally 110 kOhms at 20°C (68°F) and increases as the
temperature rises.
The signal is returned to the PCB and this ensures that the inlet air does not become
excessively hot, thus preventing scorching of garments.
Replacement
Gas and electric heated dryers, fig. 1
The element A is located at the heating unit.
Open the front shutter. Element A can now be replaced by dismounting the angle plate.
