System board removal

CAUTION: POTENTIAL INJURY
This device contains a lithium battery. There is a danger of explosion if a lithium battery is
incorrectly replaced. Replace it only with the same or equivalent type of lithium battery.
Discard used batteries according to the manufacturer's instructions and local regulations.
1. Remove the duplex.
2. Remove the ADF/scanner assembly. See
3. Remove the midframe. See
4. Disconnect all cables, and remove the two screws (A) from the system board.
5. Press down on the tank access sensor (B) to remove the system board.
6. Lift the system board, and remove.
Reinstallation note: To replace the battery, press the clip (C) to remove the old battery. Install the new battery.
