1 VPN Tunnel Management
If no tunnel policy is configured for an L3VPN, an LSP is used as the tunnel of the VPN and
only one tunnel is used.
The number of tunnels carrying out load balancing is subject to licenses.

1.4.3 Applying the Tunnel Policy on L3VPN

Context
Do as follows on the PEs configured with the VPN instance.
Procedure
Step 1 Run:
system-view
The system view is displayed.
Step 2 Run:
ip vpn-instance vpn-instance-name
The VPN instance view is displayed.
Step 3 Run:
tnl-policy policy-name
The tunnel policy is applied to the VPN instance.

1.4.4 Checking the Configuration

Prerequisite
The configurations of the tunnel policy applied to L3VPNs (select-sequence) are complete.

Example
Run the display tunnel-policy command. If the configuration of a tunnel is displayed, it means
that the configuration is successful. The following is an example:
[Quidway] display tunnel-policy policy1

Run the display tunnel-policy policy-name command to view the configurations of tunnel
policies.
Run the display ip vpn-instance verbose [ vpn-instance-name ] command to display the
tunnel policy applied to VPN instances.
Run the display ip routing-table vpn-instance vpn-instance-name [ desinationt-
address ] verbose command to display the tunnels used by the routes of VPN instances.
Run the display tunnel-info tunnel-id command to display information about a tunnel.
