Selecting the Picture Mode According to the
Shooting Scene (Picture Mode)
You can select the Picture mode according to the shooting scene. There
are ten available modes in Picture mode.
H Landscape

I Flower
J Portrait
S Self-Portrait
L Surf & Snow
N Autumn Colors Lets you take colorful pictures of trees in autumn.
K Sunset
Museum
J
Text
W
Food

Press the four-way controller (

in Capture mode.

The Capture mode screen appears.

Use the four-way controller
(2345) to choose the desired
mode.
For example, select H (Landscape mode).

Press the OK button.

Press the shutter release button
halfway.
The focus frame on the LCD monitor will
light green when the camera is in focus.

Press the shutter release button.
The picture is taken.
In Picture mode, the EV compensation, saturation, contrast,
sharpness and white balance are automatically set to their default
settings. You can change the settings.
