    Charging the Battery Use the supplied D-BC23 battery charging stand to charge the battery before using the camera for the first time or when the [Battery depleted] message appears. You can charge the battery without removing it from the camera. Connect the AC plug cord to the battery charging stand D-BC23.

    You can take a number of images and join them together to form a panorama picture. The panorama softwares supplied with the camera (ACDSee for PENTAX and ACD photostitcher) and a computer are necessary for joining the images. The Panorama Assist mode enables you to overlap the edges of the images so that they are easier to join together later into a panorama picture.
