Ringer Equivalence Number (REN)
Your euroset 805S has a REN of 1. REN is guide to the max-
imum numbers of thelephones that may be connected to a
single exchange line. The sum of individual REN values con-
nected to the exchange line should not exceed the
total of 4.
Operation cannot be guaranteed in installations with mixed
types of apparatus.
If your telephone is not functioning correctly
Not every malfunction means that your telephone has devel-
oped a fault. You can save both time and money by trying to
identify the cause of the defect yourself.
Handset off-hook, no dial tone
Is the connecting cord correctly inserted in the telephone
and the wall socket?
Dial tone is audible, but dialing is not possible
The telephone is OK. Is the dialing method set correctly?
The other party cannot hear you
Has the mute feature been activated?
