The computer has a 24-digit display, of which 16 digits are used to display numbers. In
the CAL mode, calculation results are normally displ a yed in the floating decimal point
system. If the result is smaller than 0.000000001 or greater than 9999999999
(greater than -0.000000001 or smaller than
-9999999999),
it is displayed in
exponential format. In the exponential format, the manti s sa part of a number is
displayed to 12 significant digits, while the exponent part is displayed to 4 significant
digits (including a decimal point, sign, and symbol).
