When a
program is labeled
with
a letter
so that
ii
can
be started
using
the
[QEFJ
key,
the
AREAD verb can
be used to
enter
a
single
starting
value
without the
use of the INPUT
verb. The AREAD
verb must appear
on
the first line
of
the program following the label.
If it appears elsewhere
in
the
program,
it
will
be
ignored.
Either a numeric or string
variable may be
used, but only one
can be
used per
program.
To use the AREAD
verb,
type the
desired
value
in the RUN mode, press the
!Q]fl
key,
followed by the
letter
which identifies
the
program.
If
a string variable is being used, it is
not necessary to enclose the entered
string
in
quotes.
The AREAD verb
is
used
to
read in a single
value to
a
program which
is
started using
the
!Q]fl
key.
