メス駆動腕 1 の締めねじ 5 をゆるめます。

動メス台 2 の刻線が、下軸前メタル 3 の刻点と一

Loosen set screw 5 of knife driving arm 1 .

2) Turn the moving knife base until the engraved marker
line on moving knife. base 2 is aligned with the
engraved marker dot on front bushing 3 of the hook
driving shaft.
3) When the moving knife has reached the position
specifi ed above, tighten set screw 5 of the knife driv-
ing arm so that the knife driving arm is securely fi xed
to knife driving shaft 4 .

中釜押え 1 の止めねじ 2 をゆるめて、中釜押えを

固定メス 3 を取り付ける時は、 逆の順序で行います。

中釜押えを取り付ける時は、 A の方向に押しながら、

• 糸の切れ味が悪くなった時、固定メス 3 を B 図の
ように研いでください。
（注意） 固定メスを研ぎ直しする際は、取り扱いに注意し
てください。
1) Loosen set screw 2 of bobbin case opening lever 1
, and remove the bobbin case opening lever.
Loosen set screw 4 , and remove counter knife 3 .

3) To install the counter knife 3 , follow the above proce-
dure in reverse order.
4) When attaching the bobbin case opening lever, tighten
the set screw while pressing the lever in direction A .
• If the counter knife blade be comes blunt, grind coun-
ter knife blade 3 as shown in B using an oilstone.
(Caution) When re-sharpening the knife blade, extra
special care must be taken on the handling
of the knife.
