COMSPHERE 3800Plus Modems
If the modem is to be managed by a network
management system, an SDU must be supplied and
properly connected to the network management controller.
For proper network management connection to the SDU,
refer to the appropriate network management system
user's guide.
For installation of the 3000 Series Carrier into a
cabinet, refer to the COMSPHERE 3000 Series Carrier,
Installation Manual.

3811 Plus Modem Installation
The 3811Plus modem is designed for installation in a
COMSPHERE 3000 Series Carrier which supplies
operating power and the dial and/or leased-line network
connections. For correct power, DTE, dial-line,
leased-line, NIM, and network management cabling
information, refer to the COMSPHERE 3000 Series
Carrier, Installation Manual.
