6.1 SERVICE TEST MODE

1. Configuration and Conditions to Check
While in Service Test Mode, an emergency shutdown is not performed even if the one of errors shown below occurs. (Ignore)
Even after the unit is forcibly shut off in Normal mode upon detecting one of the errors indicated below, you can
immediately turn it on in Service Test mode, without waiting for 1 minute.
You can check the accumlated power-on time in Service Test mode.
2. Entering Test Mode
Short-circuit the STEST TEST land then turn on the AC power.
* The initial function is SACD/CD.

The indications on the FL display upon entering Service Test mode differ depending on whether the unit was turned off
normally or automatically shut off upon detection of one of the following failures:
<<After power turned off normally>>
<<After an AMP error occurs>>
<<After an SACD/CD error occurs>>
<<After an EEPROM error occurs>>

* To exit Service Test Mode, turn the power off or unplug the AC power cable.
* When Service Test mode is exited, only data regarding the above-mentioned failures in RAM will be initialized.
(User-setting data in RAM will not be initialized.)
