Removing the Chassis Cover

1. Power down the system and unplug the power adapter from the chassis.
2. Remove the two side screws that hold the chassis cover in place and set
these aside for later use.
3. Slide the cover sideways as illlustrated above to release the front and rear
cover hooks from the chassis.
4. Lift the cover up and off the chassis.
Warning: Except for short periods of time, do NOT operate the server without the cover
in place. The chassis cover must be in place to allow proper airfl ow and prevent the
system from overheating.
