Setting the time

The example in the figure shows how to set the time for 4:25 p.m.
1. Press [
, POWER] to turn the unit on.
2. Press [CLOCK/TIMER] to select "CLOCK".
Every time you press the button;

(Within 5 seconds or so)
Press [TUNE/TIME ADJ (

4. Press [CLOCK/TIMER] to finish setting the time.
The display will return to whatever was displayed before you set
the time.
Displaying the clock
When the unit is off.
When ECO mode is off;
The clock is displayed constantly.
When ECO mode is on;
Press [-DISPLAY/–DEMO].
The clock is displayed for about 5 seconds and then the display goes
blank again.
When the unit is on
Press [CLOCK/TIMER] so "CLOCK" is shown.
The clock is shown for about 5 seconds then the previous display is
restored.

Auto power-off

by remote control only
When CD or tape is selected as the source.
To save power, the unit turns off if it is left unused for four minutes.
This function does not work if the source is tuner or AUX.
Press [AUTO OFF].
"AUTO OFF" is displayed.
To cancel
Press [AUTO OFF] again.
For your reference
The setting is maintained even if the unit is turned off. When the unit
is turned on again, the unit functions as described above.
If you select tuner or AUX as the source, "AUTO OFF" goes out. It
comes on again when you select CD or tape.
