If you need a special access number to get
an outside line, dial it first then select "Pause"
to enter a pause (represented by a "-") before
dialling the full number.
Ex: 9 Pause 5551234 -> 9-5551234

If you are using Pulse dialling and you wish to
change to Tone dialling in the middle of dialling,
select " " (represented by a "/").
The dialling mode will change from Pulse to
Tone after dialling the digit "/".
Ex: 9 Pause 5551234 -> 9-/5551234

A "/" symbol appears when "Tone" is changed
to "Pulse" in "06 Dialing Method".
(This feature is available in certain countries
only.)
