Video connections

Preparation
≥Turn the television off and disconnect its AC mains lead.
≥Refer to the television's or satellite receiver's operating instructions.
Do not connect the unit through a video cassette recorder
Video signals fed through video cassette recorders will be affected
by copyright protection systems and the picture will not be shown
correctly on the television when the VCR is recording the copy
protected material.

Main unit
21-pin Scart socket (DVD)
Connect the aerial to the RF Input socket of the
main unit.
Connect the RF lead from the RF Output socket of
the main unit to the television aerial input socket.
Connect the AV1 21-pin Scart socket to television
Scart socket.
≥This is necessary for Download from television with Q Link function.
≥If you wish to view pictures by RGB signals from this socket, connect this
unit to the appropriate Scart socket on your television.
≥If the television is equiped with a 21-pin Scart socket that features
Y/C signal separation, set the "AV1 output" to "S-Video" (
so that you can play back with high picture quality and use a fully-wired
21-pin Scart lead (not supllied) to connect the unit to the television.
Connect the AV2 21-pin Scart socket to Satellite
Receiver.
If you are not connecting a Satellite Receiver, skip this step.
Connect your Satellite Receiver to the television.
If you are not connecting a Satellite Receiver, skip this step.
