Music Scan
The following operation is possible using the
remote control only.
Pressing the M.SCAN button plays the
beginning (8 seconds) of each track on
the disc in sequence whether the MD
recorder is either playing or stopped.
The
indicator flashes during music scan.

You can press the
button on the remote
¬
control when the beginning of a track is
playing to start normal play from that track.
Playing tracks in a random order
(random play)
1. When the MD recorder is stopped, press
the PLAY MODE button several times
until "RANDOM" appears in the
display.
The display changes as shown below each
time you press the PLAY MODE button:
Random play (RANDOM indicator lights)
↓
Memory play (MEMORY indicator lights)
↓
Normal play (No indicator is shown)
To select the random mode with the remote
control, press the RANDOM button.
2. Press the
button (or the
ø
button on the remote control).
To exit the random mode
When the MD recorder is stopped, press the
PLAY MODE button several times until
"RANDOM" disappears from the display.
(Or, press the CONTINUE button on the
remote control.)
