Server/Clerk entries (Sign-on/Sign-off)

Prior to item entries, the server/clerk will be compelled to enter his or her assigned server/clerk code.
Note: This may not be necessary when the POS terminal has been programmed for the server/clerk code
entry as "re-designation mode."
• Sign-on
The server/clerk is signed on by entering the server/clerk code.
Procedure
1) Server/Clerk code (max. 4 digits)
2) Entering the password (if required)
• Sign-off
After each transaction, the server/clerk will be signed-off automatically. If the terminal has been
programmed for the server/clerk code entry as "compulsory for each transaction mode".
If the terminal is not programmed to require a server/clerk code to be entered for each transaction operation
("re-designation mode"), transaction operations are continued with the same server/clerk code, the server/
clerk code does not need to be reentered. In this case, touch either the [EXIT] or [CLK#] (Sign On) key to
sign-off.
