Description
Overview
Carefully unpack the Data Stream™ 4 and check that all the parts are in the
package, and are in good condition.
If the box, or any of the contents, appear damaged from shipping, or show signs
of mishandling, save all the packaging and file a claim with the carrier
immediately, do not notify Chauvet. Failure to report damage to the carrier
immediately, or failure to have all the packaging available for inspection, could
invalidate the claim.
For other issues, such as missing components or parts, damage not related to
shipping, or concealed damage, file a claim with Chauvet within 7 days of
delivery. For information on contacting Chauvet, see
QRG.
The Data Stream™ 4 is a universal DMX-512 optical splitter designed to
distribute/boost the incoming DMX signal into 4 separate outputs. Each of the 4
outputs is electronically isolated from the others, with the exception of the DMX
Thru (throughput) or Link Out. Each output has 3- and 5-pin XLR ports. Increase
operation by linking other Data Stream™ 4 units together.
