Making and Answering Calls

Voice calls -
Press MONITOR

or lift the handset.
2 Dial the telephone number.
Example:
If you misdial, hang up and dial again.
3 When the other party answers, talk into the
microphone (KX-FP85) or speak with the
handset.
4 When finished talking, press

Note for KX-FP81AL/KX-FP85AL only:
The dialing mode is set to "TONE" as a default setting.
If you cannot dial, change to "PULSE" with feature
#13 (p.68).
Voice calls -
When the unit rings, press
