Steps for Finalizing the Installation

1.
Remove the glass frame (see page 35).
2.
We recommend you purge the gas line at this time (with the glass frame removed). This allows gas to be
detected once it enters the firebox, ensuring gas does not build up.
3.
Replace the glass frame.
4.
Start the fireplace.
5.
Leak test all gas joints.
6.
Check the air shutter following the directions below.

Air Shutter Adjustment

There are two burners inside the fireplace. Each burner has its own air shutter.
Air shutters are calibrated at the factory. The only time you need to adjust the air shutter is when converting
to LP (see "LP conversion instructions").
7.
Turn the appliance off and install the log set.
8.
Replace the glass frame. Turn the appliance on and verify air shutter adjustment. If adjustment is necessary,
you may wish to shut the appliance off and make adjustments.
9.
Give this manual to the home owner for future reference and fully explain operation of this fireplace.

NG Air Shutter Settings:
Rear = 0.1" (3mm) Open
LP Air Shutter Settings:
Front = 0.25" (7mm) Open
Rear = 0.625" (16mm) Open
(for qualified installers only)
Front = Closed
