[Automatic] [Off]
Automatic: The screen messages are displayed on the screen.
[ON] [Off]
On: The grey background is displayed when there is no television reception.
[Bright] [Dim] [Automatic]
Changes the brightness of the unit display.
Automatic: The unit display becomes dark during playback. In standby mode,
all displays are hidden. If you selected [Power Save-On], the brightness of the
display cannot be changed.
Setting
[16:9] [4:3] [Letterbox]
Select the TV picture format of your television set.
Letterbox: Black strips appear at the top and bottom of your screen.
[ON] [Off]
Only COMPONENT VIDEO OUT.
On: In COMPONENT VIDEO OUT mode, the signal is displayed in full picture quality.
[PAL] [NTSC]
PAL: You connect the unit to a PAL or multi-system television set. Programmes that
were recorded with NTSC are played back as PAL60.
NTSC: You connect the unit to an NTSC television set.
Programmes that were recorded with NTSC are played back as NTSC.
[Video ( with component )] [RGB ( without component )]
Switch to RGB for an improved picture quality.
If RGB is set, no signal is available at COMPONENT VIDEO OUT.
RGB is not available for VHS playback.
