Connect the AC mains leads.
BE SURE TO READ THE CAUTION FOR THE AC MAINS LEAD ON
PAGE 2 IN OPERATIONS GUIDE BEFORE CONNECTION.

leads are the same.)

Conserving power
The main unit consumes a small amount of power, even when it is turned off
(approx. 7.5 W). To save power when the unit is not to be used for a long
time, unplug it from the household mains socket.
Set the unit to standby mode and remove the AC mains lead once
"BYE" disappears from the unit's display.
You will need to reset some memory items in the unit after plugging.
