Base unit status indicators

On different occasions you may notice that the
status indicators on the base unit are flashing.
You may find the following flash patterns helpful
to you:

On The base unit is locating the handset.
Flashing The base unit is registering the handset.
On The wireless LAN of the base unit is
available.
Flashing A wireless data transfer is in progress.
On A connection to LAN has been established.
Flashing A data transfer is in progress on the LAN
side.
– The Ethernet cable is not connected to the
LAN port on the rear of the base unit.
On An Internet connection has been
established (IP address obtained).
Flashing A data transfer is in progress on the WAN
side.
