When using the cable with the 3.5mm mini plug, you must verify whether or not the
pedal's polarity is "tip positive". This is the standard polarity for pedals which use the
3.5mm mini plug for power. Once again, you should verify this before connecting the
pedal to the V-10 to prevent damage to the pedal. Try looking at the pedal's power
adapter or contact the pedal manufacturer for verification.
If you have a pedal which has no power jack, but does contain a connector for a single 9V
battery, you can use the cable with the 9V battery snap. To use, remove the battery from
the pedal and connect this battery snap instead.
The easiest way to determine which power cables you require is to gather all required
information for your pedals as described in the previous sections of this manual and then
input this data into the "Pedal Requirements Reference Table" on page 22. You can then
reference this table to determine which power cables to use for each pedal and if you
require additional power cables.
