NOTE:
Make
sure
that the
each valve
is installed in its
original
place
by reference to
it
embossed
identification mark,
as
follows:
Intake:
3YF
•
Exhaust:
3YF
Install
the valve spring with larger pitch
(6)
facing
upward.
(7)
Smaller pitch.
4.
Install:
Valve
cotters
(1)
NOTE:
Install the valve cotters
while compressing
the
valve spring
with the
valve spring compressor.
Valve spring
compressor:
P/N
YM-04019, 90890-04019
5.
Secure
the valve cotters
on
to
the valve stem
by
tapping
it
lightly with
a piece
of
wood.
CAUTION:
Do not
hit
so
much
as
to
damage
the valve.
