1.
Apply:
Engine
oil
(onto piston rings
and
piston pin)
2. install;
• Piston
rings
NOTE:
Be
sure
to install
ring so
thai
manufacture marks
or
numbers are located on
the top side of the rings,

5. Position:
• Top
ring
• 2nd ring
Offset the piston
ring
end gaps
as
shown.

6. install:

Cylinder

3. Install:

Piston

• Piston pin
(2)
• Circlips

NOTE:
The
allow
(4)
on
the piston
must
point
to
the front
of
the engine.
Before
installing the
circlip,
cover
the crankcase
with
a clean towei or rag so you
will
not accidentally
drop
the
pin
dip and material
into
the crankcase.
4. install:
• Gasket
(1) (cylinder)
• Dowel
pins
(2)
NOTE:
Install
the cylinder while
compressing
the piston
rings
by the hand.
7. install:
•
Bolts
(1)
• Bolts
(2)
Bolts
(1):
42Nm(4.2mkg)
Bolts
(2):
10Nm(i.0mkg)
NOTE:
Tighten the
bolts (1) in
a crisscross pattern,
