Note: The 'SIP User extension, Username and Password configured here
should be configured on the gateway for the registrations to work.
Please refer to the User manual of the Gateway for a description on how
to do this.
Note: The maximum number of media sessions possible across NATs is
10. This includes the roaming users and the NAT'ed gateways in active
calls.

Detecting inactive sessions

Gateway sessions can be refreshed to verify whether they are still active.
Selecting 'Session refresh required' will enable this feature for a gateway. All calls
through that gateway will then be refreshed by sending SIP requests at regular
intervals. This interval can be configured from the callserver configuration page.
If the gateway or the user agents involved in the session fail to respond to the
session refresh request the call will be torn down. Any activity on the session will
reset the timer for the session refresh request so that the refresh request don't
add to network congestion in case there is heavy traffic.

Configuring Routes

The Route configuration information can be obtained by clicking Call Server-
>Routes. To add a New RouteGroup configuration, click on Add New. Atleast one
route should be created and added while creating a RouteGroup. The Route View
Column helps in viewing all the Routes belonging to a RouteGroup. New Routes
can be Added / Deleted / Edited from here.

If enabled calls through this gateway will be made
considering that the gateway is on a different
network. The media will be mapped through the DVX
if required. The NAT configuration in Call Server ->
configuration should be completed before this can be
enabled.
Check this box if the gateway is connected through
an outbound proxy.
IP Address of the outbound proxy.
Port number of the outbound proxy.
Check this box if DVX-1000 needs to register with
the external gateway. If this box is unchecked, DVX
expects the gateway to register to it. In either case,
the SIP User extension, Username and Password
configured below will be used for the registration.
i.e. Incoming registrations from the gateway will be
authenticated against these values or Outgoing
register requests will be constructed with these
values.
SIP User extension associated with this gateway.
SIP display name for the gateway user
Specifies the password associated with this gateway.
This will be used for authentication.
If enabled, all calls landing on the DVX from this
gateway will automatically be transferred to the
extension specified. If this is not enabled, all calls
will land on the autoattendant.
