5. Measure between the outside cutting edges and the flat
surface (Figure 51).
Note: If both measurements are not within 5 mm
(3/16 inch), an adjustment is required; continue with
this procedure.
6. Move to the left side of the machine.
7. Loosen the side locking nut.
8. Raise or lower the left side of the mower deck by
rotating the rear locking nut.
Note: Rotate the rear locking nut clockwise to
raise the mower deck; rotate the rear locking nut
counter-clockwise to lower the mower deck.
