Removing an optical drive

Use this information to remove an optical drive.
About this task
You can go to "Front view" on page 19 to see the locations of an optical drive on
the server.
To remove an optical drive, complete the following steps:
Procedure
1. Read the safety information that begins on "Safety" on page v and "Installation
2. Turn off the server and peripheral devices and disconnect all power cords.
3. Remove the server top cover (see "Removing the top cover" on page 147).
