Switch
This
selects
whether

not to control the
pan
(Control
Change number
10)
from an
external MIDI device.
ON
:The
pan
of
the instrument
in
the section
which
receives
Pan messages
(if it is
in
the Instrument
section,
all
the instruments)
is
changed
and
remains
active
until
another Pan
message
is
received.
OFF
:Pan
messages
are not received.
*The
Pan messages can
control only
the Sound played by the MIDI
messages received
at
MIDI
IN,
but cannot control the sound (Song Play or Pattern Play)
played by
the
R-8MK

itself.
*When
the
Pan Switch
is
set to
"ON,"
the
Pan assigned
to
the other Control
Change numbers
will
be
invalid.

This
selects
whether
or
not
to receive
Program
Change
messages.

received

the Basic
