The
Pattern
Extract
function allows
you
to
extract
the
specified
Instrument data
from
a
rhythm
pattern
and copy
it
to a different
rhythm
pattern
number.
This function
may
be used
for
using the
same
Instrument data
in
more
than
one rhythm
pattern.

Pattern Bank.
Set the
unit to a
Pattern
mode
("Pb^Y,"
"REAL"
or
"STEP")
and
stopped,
follow
this
procedure
:

be
extracted.
While
holding
[SHIFT

press key
pad

key pad
that corresponds
to
the Instrument
to
be
extracted.
If
necessary,
change Pad Banks
with

the
Numeric
Keys, specify the
destination Pattern (0 to 99).

Press
ENTER
If
the destination
rhythm
pattern
contains
no
data,
the
message
"Completed"
appears
in
the display
showing
that the
copy
is
complete.
If
there
is
data
written
in
the
destination
rhythm
pattern,
the
message
"Oven/vrite
OK
?"
appears
in
the
display.
To
copy, press
ENTER
again, to
cancel press
EXIT
.
^Any
previous data at the destination
rhythm
pattern
is
erased.
*!f the Instrument
you have
specified
in
step
3
does not
exist
in
the
rhythm
pattern,
the
message
"Inst
not
found"
appears
in
the
display
and
the
copy
is
not executed.
