EXPOSURE COMPENSATION

Exposure is manually adjustable.
In addition to automatic exposure, you can also adjust it
manually by +/– 1. Adjust +1 when the subject is mostly light.
Adjust – 1 when the subject is mostly dark.
How to adjust:
1
The +/– 1 adjustment is locked when the Shutter release
button is pressed halfway along with the Next (+) or
Previous (–) button.
The adjustment is locked even after you release the Next
(+) or Previous (–) button.
2
The adjustment is complete when the Shutter release
button is pressed all the way.
After taking the picture, the adjustment is returned to +/– 0.
Note:
Exposure compensation is not available when
shooting with the Function card mode.
Although the brightness of the LCD monitor can
be changed with the exposure compensation, it
may not appear to change when the subject is
mostly dark. In such a case, display the recorded
picture on the monitor to check its brightness.
The exposure compensation may not work
properly when shooting with the flash.
