4.3.3 HP Board

1. Remove the Scanner Housing. (p.97)
2. Move the CCD Unit from the home position. (See Figure 4-29)
3. Disconnect the FFC and the connector of the CR Motor.
4. Remove the screw (x1), and remove the HP Board.

4.3.4 Carriage Cover Assy

1. Remove the Scanner Housing. (p.97)
2. Remove the screw (x2) of the Carriage Cover. (See Figure 4-30)
3. Lift the right side of the Carriage Cover and remove it from the carriage, release the
lead wires from the hooks (x2), and disconnect the connector.
After connecting the connector, route the lead wires as shown
below:
When installing the Carriage Cover, fit the projections (x2) at
the left edge first.
Of the two screws, tighten the one on the CR shaft side first.
