The machine uses PSTN, not T.38

Verify that the end user is entering "#" as the first
character when entering the alias for the IP Address.

Identify the PSTN number the facsimile is sending to.
Ask the end user if they are using a One-Touch key to
send.
Check the programming of the One-Touch key. A PSTN
number may be entered as the alternate (backup) number.
If the network is down, the T.38 facsimile machine will
send to the alternate (backup) PSTN number.

Connecting private address to global addresses

For information on working with global IP Addresses, contact
your Authorized Service Dealer.

Communication errors occur

Network conditions can cause delays in data transfers.
The delays can cause communication errors.
If this frequently occurs, increase the setting for the TCP
Timer (via the IPFax Console Software).
