Functional overview
I
Further information on the CSS concept is provided in the "PRIMERGY
ServerView Suite Local Service Concept - LSC" manual on the Fujitsu
manuals server.
For the latest information on optional products provided for the
RX2510 M2 see the configurator of the server:

System board
The features of the system board are described in the "FUJITSU Server
PRIMERGY RX2510 M2 Upgrade and Maintenance Manual" for the hardware
and in the "D3279 BIOS Setup Utility for FUJITSU Server PRIMERGY
RX2510 M2 Reference Manual" for the firmware.
Slots for expansion cards
The server can be flexibly expanded via four slots (2x PCIe x16 and 2x PCIe
x8). A second processor is required for slot 4.
One horizontal chassis slot can be occupied by a serial interface.
Hard disk drives
The server can be equipped with 4x 3.5-inch or 4x 2.5-inch SAS/SATA
HDD/SSD modules. The 2.5-inch SAS/SATA HDDs/SSDs modules consist of a
2.5-inch SAS/SATA HDD/SSD and a 3.5-inch installation frame.
Each HDD/SSD module can accommodate a SAS/SATA HDD/SSD with a
maximum height of 1 inch. The module is connected to the SAS/SATA
backplane wirelessly. This allows HDD/SSD modules to be plugged in or pulled
out easily.
To control SAS HDDs, an additional RAID controller must be installed.
Mixed configurations of SAS HDDs, SATA HDDs and SSDs within the same
logical drive (RAID array) are not supported.
If the server has the corresponding RAID configuration, HDD modules can also
be replaced during operation.
