Key Component Upgrades
Your computer delivers superior power and
performance. However, some users and the
applications they use may demand more. This
computer allows you to upgrade key components
when you need increased performance.
Note: Contact your authorized dealer if you decide
to perform a key component upgrade.

Memory Upgrade
Memory is upgradeable from 16 to 80 MB,
employing 8-/16-/32-/64-MB 64-bit soDIMMs
(Small Outline Dual Inline Memory Modules).
Installing Memory
Installing Memory
Follow these steps to install memory:
1. Turn off the computer, umplug the AC
adapter and remove the battery pack. Then
turn the computer over to access its base.
2. Remove the three screws from the memory
door; then lift up and remove the memory door.
3. Insert the memory module diagonally into the
slot, then gently press down until it clicks into
place.
