purpose cutter at a stable speed.
5.
Stop cutting if the motor becomes hot, and cool the motor
before restarting.
Using the parallel guide
WARNING
Always ensure that the machine is switched off and unplugged
from the power supply before making any adjustments.
The parallel guide allows you to make parallel cuts in a sheet of
the material to being cut, all at the same width.
Slide the parallel fence (16) into the slot in the base plate
(7).
Adjust to the required width and secure it in position with
the locking knob (17).
Ensure that the guide rests against the material along its
entire length to give a consistent parallel cut.
Setting the cutting depth
The power tool design enables the stepless cutting depth
adjustment. An accurate cut can be achieved, if the cutting
blade (9) overhangs the material by ca. 3 mm.
1.
Loosen the depth regulation knob (19).
2.
Set the desired cutting depth.
3.
Tighten the depth regulation knob (19).

Maintenance and storage

Before any work on the machine itself, pull the mains plug.
Always keep the tool and the ventilation slots (if present)
cleaned. Regular cleaning and maintenance of the appliance
will ensure efficiency and prolong the life of your tool.
If the tool should fail despite the rigorous manufacturing
and testing procedures, the repair should be carried out by an
authorized IVT customer service.
Keep all nuts, bolts, and screws tight, to be sure the tool is in
safe working condition.
Replace worn or damaged parts for safety.
Use only original spare parts. Parts not produced by
manufacturer may cause poor fit and possible injury.
Store the tool in a dry room out of reach of kids and away
from any flammable material.
Never wet the device or spray water on it!
Remove the blade and clean the motor flange, the flange
nut and the protective guard after finishing work.
Carefully check the blade for signs of damage such as
broken segments etc. Continued use of a worn or damaged
cutting blade will result in reducing cutting efficiency and may
seriously overload the motor. Damaged cutting blades must be
replaced immediately.
Cleaning the multi purpose cutter
1.
Pull the plug of power cord out of socket.
2.
Wipe the multi purpose cutter with a dry and soft cloth. Do
not clean it with wet cloth or detergent, or the surface coating
of the metal cutting machine will be damaged.
3.
Pay attention to wipe off the grease on the machine, or the
machine will become slippery and hard to hold.
4.
Remove the saw blade and wipe off dust on it.
