Connecting a crash cymbal
(CY-8: sold separately)
Use a stereo cable to connect the CY-8 to the TD-9 as shown in
the illustration.
1.
Attach the Cymbal Mount to the
stand.
2.
Connect the cable included with the
pad to the TD-9's CRASH2 jack.

The V hi-hat is a prime example
of Roland's V-Drums technology
The main feature of the V hi-hat (VH-
11) is the design that creates the
movement, weight and playing feel of
a acoustic hi-hat.
The VH-11 can be mounted on a just
about any hi-hat stand, allowing
Cymbal Mount
normal bow/edge playing technique,
smooth transition between the open
and closed position and even foot
splashes.
Connect the HH (hi-hat trigger) cable
to the TRIGGER OUT jack.
Connect the HHC (hi-hat control) cable
to the CONTROL OUT jack.
The hi-hat stand is sold separately.
