Oil change

• Empty the fuel tank.
• Unscrew the oil filler cap.
• Place a suitable vessel to collect the oil in.
• Drain the oil by tipping the engine so that the oil runs
out through the filler pipe. When the machine is tilted,
make sure the air filter always is placed in the highest
position. Ask where you can dispose of surplus
engine oil at your local petrol station.
• Fill with new engine oil of a good quality. See
instructions in the section "Technical data".

Fuel system

• Check that the fuel cap and its seal are not damaged.
• Check the fuel hose. Replace if necessary.

Battery

Important An exhausted battery must not
!
be disposed of as household garbage!
Leave it at your nearest service agent or
collection point.
Check all cables and connections. Never use the machine
if any cable or plug is damaged, but hand it in to an
authorized service workshop for repair.
CAUTION! The battery might need recharging once or
twice during mowing season and should always be
charged prior to winter storage.
Do not charge at temperatures below +5° C.

Charging the battery.

Charge the battery using the battery charger supplied.
The battery charges as follows:
• Open the cover on the electric starter
• Connect the battery charger and charge the battery
for max. 24 hours.
MAINTENANCE

Checking the fuse

• Unscrew the battery hold-down
• Turn the battery hold-down carefully so the battery
does not fall out.
• Open the cover on the fuse holder.
• Check the fuse, change if it has blown.
• Put back the battery hold-down, making sure no
cables are pinched.
• Screw on the battery hold-down.
