10. Voice mail*
Voice mail allows callers to leave a voice message, which can be retrieved
at any time. However, voice mail is independent of your phone's software.
To use voice mail, your service provider must furnish a voice mail subscription
and a voice mailbox number. Also, the voice mailbox number must be
saved to your phone. Your service provider can tell you how to record a
mailbox greeting and how to change the temporary password.
When you receive a voice message, your phone lets you know by beeping,
displaying a message, or both. The exact method of notification depends
upon your service provider.
• If you receive more than one voice mail message, your phone displays
the number received.
• If you've subscribed to more than one phone line, a message indicates
which line has the message.
• Save the voice mailbox number*
1 At the Start screen, press Menu.
2 Press the roller and scroll until Voice messages appears.
3 Press the roller and scroll until Voice mailbox number appears.
4 Press the roller, enter the voice mailbox number, and press OK.
Voice mailbox no. saved appears on screen.
5 Press
to return to the Start screen.
