Problem
The phone won't
dial a number using
voice dial.
Whenever I connect
the DLR-3P cable to
my phone, it loses
power.
Whenever I connect
the AMPS module
to my phone, it
won't power up.
I can't send infor-
mation using IR.
Possible cause
You haven't assigned a
voice tag to the number
you are trying to call.
You're in an area with
an excessive amount of
background noise.
The AMPS module is
connected to your
phone.
The DLR-3P cable is
connected to your
phone.
The device you are
communicating with
isn't IrDA compliant.
The devices aren't close
enough together.

Go to a quieter area
to use voice dialing.
Disconnect the
AMPS module or
DLR-3P cable from
your phone.
Disconnect the
analog module or
DLR-3P cable from
your phone.
Use a device that is
IrDA compliant.
Ensure your phone
and the device are
within 3 feet (90 cm)
of each other.
