This Procedure includes the following:

Replacing the Seat Cushion (Foam Insert)

Replacing the Seat Pan

Adjusting the Seat Depth

Adjusting the Seat Width - Non-Mini tilt

After adjustments and before use make sure
T
all attaching hardware is securely tightened.
REPLACING THE SEAT CUSHION (FOAM
INSERT) (FIGURE 1)
1. Lift up and remove the existing seat cushion
from the seat pan.
2. Open the seat cushion and remove the existing
foam insert.
3. Install the new foam insert.
4. Close the seat cushion and reattach to the seat
upholstery.

REPLACING THE SEAT PAN (FIGURE 2)
1. Remove seat cushion from the seat pan.
2. Remove the phillips screws that secure the seat
pan to the wheelchair frame.
3. Position the new seat pan on the wheelchair
frame and secure to seat frame with the exist-
ing phillips screws.
4. Remove the fastening strap covers on the seat
pan.
5. Reinstall the seat cushion onto the seat pan.
WARNING
Foam Insert
NOTE: Clean seat pan with warm water and mild
detergent to remove superficial soil.

ADJUSTING THE SEAT DEPTH (FIGURE 3)
WARNING
The following procedure must be performed by
an authorized Invacare dealer or qualified tech-
nician.
The seat depth and back angle of the wheel-
chair, as well as the large wheel position directly
relate to the stability of the wheelchair. Any
change to one (1) or any combination of the
three (3) may cause the wheelchair to decrease
in stability. Use EXTREME caution when using
a new seating position for the first time.

ensure the proper stability, safety and handling
of the wheelchair.
