Section 2 - Setting Up With a Web Browser - Router Mode
Band Width:
Select the band width:
• . 20/40.MHz.(Auto) - Select if you are using both 802.11n
and non-802.11n wireless devices.
• . 20.MHz - Select if you are not using any 802.11n wireless
clients.
• . 20/40/80.MHz (Auto)- Select if you are using 802.11ac
wireless clients and non-802.11ac wireless devices
(5 GHz only).
Visibility Status:
Select Invisible if you do not want the SSID of your wireless
network to be broadcasted by the DIR-516. If Invisible is
selected, the SSID of the DIR-516 will not be seen by site
survey utilities so your wireless clients will have to know the
SSID of your DIR-516.
Security Mode:
Select a wireless security encryption option. You can also
choose to turn off wireless security by selecting None, but
this is not recommended. See the following pages for details.
