<Menu Select the initial disc menu language.

<Dynamic You can change the dynamic range

• OFF: Select this to enjoy a powerful
sound at a low volume level with
its full dynamic range.
• ON (Initial): Select this to reduce
the dynamic range a little.
• Dialog: Select this to reproduce
movie dialog more clearly.
<Angle Select whether to display the angle
Mark> mark.
• ON (Initial): Select this to display
the angle mark.
• OFF: Select this to hide the angle
mark.

<Parental Set the parental lock.

<CD Read> Select the files to play on a disc
containing music files. You cannot
change the setting when a disc is
inserted.
• 1 (Initial): Automatically
distinguishes between audio file
discs and music CDs.
• 2: Forces playback as a music CD.
No sound can be heard if an audio
file disc is played.
* You can change these settings only while playback is stopped.
Setting the parental lock
The parental lock cannot be set during DVD
playback.

Display the <Parental Pass Check>

screen.
On the <Mode> screen:

Enter the 4-digit parental pass code (1),
and press [Enter] (2).
• To clear the entry, press [Clear].

Adjust the parental level ([OF] (off), [1] to
[8]).
To deactivate the parental lock: Select [OF] (off)
for <Parental Level>.
