Install Bearing Flange to Side Plate
and / or Left Side of Frame
NOTICE: Bearing flanges are installed to frame exterior
and to interior of side plates.
1. Install bearing flange(s) and secure with three hex
bolts and three center locking flange nuts. Tighten
hardware.
2. Reinstall sleeve bushings between bearing flanges on
frame and side plates.
3. Insert axle end nearest Woodruff keyway through left
side plate and halfway through frame.
See Figure 61.
4. Reinstall Woodruff key onto axle.
5. Reinstall spur gear onto axle and align keyway with
Woodruff key. Reinstall spur gear over key.
6. Reinstall sleeve bushing onto axle end.
7. Reinstall roll pin into axle.
8. Align spur gear with pinion sprocket and slowly insert
axle through frame and side plate until axle stops.
Make sure axle is centered.
9. Tighten six locking nuts securing mount plates to track
carriage.
10. Reinstall bottom cover and secure with six hex bolts.
11. Reinstall keys and flat steel washers onto axle ends.
12. Reinstall track drive wheels. See Install Track Drive
Wheel on page 30.
13. Reinstall tracks. See Install Track on page 31.
14. Return unit to operating position.
15. Adjust track tension. Refer to Operator's Manual for
adjustment procedure.
16. Reconnect spark plug wire.
IMPORTANT: Check all adjustments after first use.
