Per eseguire i necessari controlli
dimensionali sul telaio è necessario
rimuovere tutte le sovrastrutture

montate su di esso, riferendosi alle
procedure di smontaggio riportate
nelle specifiche sezioni.
Componenti strutturali del telaio (1)
sono il telaietto anteriore (2) e il
maniglione posteriore (6).
Il telaietto (2) svolge la funzione di
supporto di parte delle sovrastrutture
del motociclo, e per questo motivo,

deve risultare in perfette condizioni.
Smontaggio telaietto
anteriore
Rimuovere il cupolino mobile e il
cupolino fisso (Sez. E 1).
Rimuovere il radiatore olio (Sez. N
2.2).
Dopo aver scollegato tutti i

collegamenti elettrici (Sez. P 1),
svitare le viti (5), i dadi (4) e le viti (3).
Rimuovere il telaietto (2) completo del
9
gruppo fanale anteriore.
Per rimuovere il supporto fanale (9)
completo di fanale, svitare le viti (10)
di fissaggio al telaietto (2).
Smontaggio maniglione
posteriore
Sollevare la sella (Sez. E 3).

Svitare le viti (7) e (8) di fissaggio
maniglione (6).
Controllo del telaio
Le dimensioni riportate consentono di
valutare se il telaio richiede un
riallineamento o la sostituzione.

Removing the frame and
related components
Before performing the frame
dimensional checks, you will need to
remove a number of components to
give all-round access to the frame.
See the specific instructions in the
relevant Sections.
The structural components of the
frame (1) are the front subframe (2)
and the rear grab handle (6).
Subframe (2) supports motorcycle
superstructures and therefore, it
should be in perfect operating
conditions.
Removing the front
subframe
Remove the mobile headlight fairing
and the fixed headlight fairing (Sect. E
1).
Remove the oil cooler (Sect. N 2.2).
Disconnect all electric connections
(Sect. P 1) and then unscrew the
screws (5), the nuts (4) and the
screws (3).
Remove the complete headlight
subframe (2).
To remove the headlight mount (9)
together with the headlight, unscrew
the screws (10) securing the mount
to the subframe (2).
Removing the rear grab
handle
Raise the seat (Sect. E 3).
Unscrew the retaining screws (7) and
(8) of the grab handle (6).
Checking the frame
Check the dimensions of the frame
against those indicated here to
determine whether frame needs
realigning or changing.
Caution
Damaged frames must be
changed, not repaired. Any changes
to the frame might cause danger.
Changes can also break E.E.C.
directives on Manufacturer's liability
and general product safety.
