TELEPHONE FEATURES / FUNCTIONS
Primary Extension/Secondary Line
Your primary extension is assigned to the bottom button on the bottom right. Your secondary line is assigned on the button above your
primary, and is used as a rollover for the primary line or another outgoing line.
Handsfree
Press the handsfree button on your telephone to make or answer a call. To switch to handsfree when you are on a call, press the
handsfree button and replace the handset. Lift the handset to switch back.
**(To avoid feedback, Handsfree calling should only be used in private offices and conference rooms)
Mute
Press the Mute key to listen to the receiving party without transmitting. Press the Mute key again to return to a two-way conversation.
The Mute key applies to Handsfree, Handset, and Headset microphones. The Mute LED flashes when the Mute option is in use.
Release / Goodbye
The release / goodbye button can be used to terminate a phone call. It is especially useful for disconnecting a Handsfree phone Call.
Hold
The Hold key is used to place an active call on hold. Return to the caller by pressing the extension next to the flashing LCD indicator.
Volume + - buttons
Use the volume buttons to control the volume of the handset, speaker and ringer. .
Message Waiting Light
Your Message Waiting Light on the top of your phones illuminates to indicate a new message waiting in your voice mailbox.
Transfer
Unannounced
1.
While on the call, press the Transfer softkey button
2.
Call the person you want to transfer the call to.
3.
Press the Release / Goodbye button to complete the transfer
Announced
1. While on the call, press the Transfer softkey
2. Call the person you want to transfer the call to.
3. When they answer, to then Transfer the call press the JOIN softkey
4. If they cannot take the call press the CANCEL softkey and the caller will be reconnected to you or RETRY to keep caller on hold
and try another extension
Call Park
1 While on a call press the PARK button, on your display will be a 3-digit code
2 To retrieve a parked call: press an intercom button and dial the 3-digit code
Do Not Disturb
Press the Do Not Disturb button to stop ringing calls at your phone, depress again to Allow Ringing
