This detennines
how
the pitch
of each Tone
changes
in
response
to
the
key
range
played.
With
the
C4
key
as
a
standard of
reference,
when
the value
is
positive
(+),
the higher
the
key played, the higher
the
pitch.
When
the value
is
negative
(
-
),
the
lower
the
key
played, the higher
the pitch.
The
farther the value
is
set
from
0,
the greater the
change
(increase or
decrease)
becomes
for
both
positive
and
negative values.
